MNT Scientic embraces the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetic's (AND's) Nutrition Care Process (NCP). The acronym ADIME is often used to describe it with the words: Nutrition Assessment, Nutrition Diagnosis, Nutrition Intervention, Nutrition Monitoring and Evaluation. MNT Scientific puts this into practice by using the following approach: 1) assess client's wants and needs, 2) assess current status, 3) set goals, 4) create plan with concrete objectives, strategies and supports, 5) reassess at subsequent sessions and 6) readjust plan as needed.
In addition to one-on-one and live group counseling, supports can include brief email correspondence and even our most popular and effective photo uplaoding. Meal and snack photos are uploaded to a secure shared folder. A registered dietitian promptly reviews them and provides expert feedback. This is much more convenient and thorough than the popular apps and gizmos. This service is available free to clients with standing appointments.

Follow-Up

We will check in to make adjustments as needed and keep you on track. Follow up visits typically last 45 minutes to one hour.
Group

Group visits last one hour. They entail checking in individually, discussing struggles and strategies, and facilitating sharing and providing feedback.
