What is Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT)?
Legitimate Diet Therapy from Rigorously Trained and Licensed Medical Providers
Medical Nutrition Therapy MNT is nutrition counseling for dietary needs. It entails treatment for diet related chronic illnesses provided by a registered dietitian (RD) (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics AND, 2023).
Our approach is completely l research based . With masters degrees and higher in dietetics, nutrition, or related field with extensive undergraduate nutrition studies, RDs complete an internship in a health care facility, pass a rigourous and comprehensive dietetics exam, and continue professional education requirements to maintain licensure (California Department of State Hospitals, 2023). Their nutritional training requirements far exceed those of medical doctors.
